It is situated in a quiet part of a unique village, which has a sea dock, adjacent to the Lune Estuary and canal basin on a branch arm of the Lancaster Canal. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and anyone who likes all aspects of wildlife, boating and the sea. We are 5 m. south of the historically important University town of Lancaster. The village has a pub, village store and cafes.

This beautiful and quaint cottage used to be the coach house for the mansion just down the road. It was build in 1616. The beams in the bedroom are all numbered and originate from a ship. These beams are from the 1200 century. This property is pet friendly. The cottage has full gas and electric but also a wood burning stove.
